15 Great Blogs to Get FREE Therapy Materials and Inspiration {+ 25 more!}

Last week I posted 12 places online to get FREE therapy materials. In that post, I only talked about websites, and not BLOGS. Today I am going to tell you about some of my favorite blogs to get materials and/or inspiration.

15 Great Blogs to Get Materials

Inspirational Blogs- Inspiring to ditch the worksheets and flashcards
I am not a huge fan of paper-and-pen activities in my speech sessions (although sometimes they do have a time and a place…) and the following blogs provide some great activities to inspire you to step away from the worksheets!

#1 No Time For Flashcards. If you haven’t visited this blog yet, you need to. This blog is FULL of activities that are right up my alley. You can browse the site by age or by category, which is great when planning activities for specific age groups and themes (look in the sidebar). There are TON of activities that can be adapted for therapy depending on your goals. If you didn’t see my recent post on my Spider Web gross motor speech activity, make sure to check it out also…it was inspired by this site!

#2 Teach Preschool. If you work with the preschool population (or children functioning at this level), be sure to check out this blog for endless learning activities that can be adapted for therapy. Like No Time For Flashcards, the activities are organized by category (see the right sidebar) so you can browse and find activities based on themes.

#3 Relentlessly Fun. Deceptively Educational This blog is A M A Z I N G. A mom trying to “trick” her son into learning new things…she amazes me. AND she provides TONS OF FREEBIES than can be adapted for therapy. MUST check them out!

Collaborative Blogs
The following blogs have MANY different contributors (teachers and other educators) which means you can get a lot of great ideas from different people in ONE place!

#4 Teaching Blog Addict is (according to their site) “an international community of teachers, home educators, parents, mentors, and tutors. We love teaching and want our children to love learning. TBA provides bloggers and readers direct access to fabulous teaching blogs that are filled with creative teaching tips and fun educational resources.” There are ALWAYS freebies and great ideas. This is a good blog to subscribe to via email so you don’t miss anything!

#5a Classroom Freebies is exactly what it says: A blog full of FREE classroom freebies! With 100 contributing teachers, it is full of great ideas that can be used for teaching and therapy.

#5b Classroom Freebies Too is a sister site to the one above…more free stuff!
