  3. Sarah J says:

I would love to win this! I would use it as a resource to educate parents on signing with their children as well as a tool to use with my preschoolers with little to no langauge!!

  4. Echo M. says:

I think sign language is a great way to communicate with your child, plus it’s also fun!

  5. I love signing for so many reasons! One new reason I just noticed is that it is strengthening my children’s fine muscle coordination–I love watching their little fingers learn to move independently!

I did a little bit of sign with my first daughter and would love to do more with my second.

  7. Signing is such a fantastic way to communicate! It is great for the younger ones, especially those with speech or language impairments, as it helps them communicate their wants and needs. It also helps them work on their fine motor movements.
I would love to learn more sign language to hopefully implement some of these signs with my caseload!

  13. I have a 12 month old and this would be perfect! We do not have any signing resources yet.

  14. I tried to leave a comment through in order to enter the contest but it wouldn’t let me so I’m doing it down here. I actually do sign language with a blind, nonverbal child. He also has sensory integration disorder, a lot going on! I have taught him two signs so far and he is gaining some independence doing the signs rather than hand-over hand assistance. How great is it that he can express his wants/needs?! i’m sure his parents are proud, as am I. it also makes me feel good that I’m doing something to enhance his communication.

  15. Sabrina says:

I find that signing with my young children has been a huge benefit…
it helps when they are too young to speak, as well as when we are in quiet places such as a waiting room or in church and I know other people appreciate that the children are quiet! Would love to win this for a more formal type of signing…we’ve just sort of made up some of our own combined with ASL.

  16. Just found your blog tonight. We just started signing time with my older girls last week in our homeschool. Would love these for my little 10 month old guy!

  20. We’ve seen how great it is with our nephew — was so helpful before he could talk — and definitely want to teach our little girl, who’s due in August!

  21. I have a few of the regular signing time videos, but none of the baby ones yet…but I didn’t have a baby when I started getting into them! With a deaf child in the house (granted, with cochlear implants, so he hears too), signing is a big part of life, and anything to help introduce my newest is great!
