Well…it’s Freebie Friday and I actually didn’t make a freebie this week.
Life has been busy here and I have been, well, uninspired! I do have a project in the works but it is a bigger project so it won’t be ready any time soon. So what I decided to do is share a few FREEBIES that other amazing bloggers have shared! And they all have a St. Patrick’s Day theme! Can you believe St. Patty’s is just a few weeks away!?
(I found the above FREE printable at Simple As That. I LOVE it!)
Some St. Patty’s Crafts:
Make this adorable handprint Leprechaun from Meet the Dubiens.
Make this handprint shamrock from No Time For Flashcards.
This is too cute: Make your own Leprechaun beard! From No Time For Flashcards.
And my personal favorite: A Shamrock I Am Lucky Because plant from Lisa Storms.
Catch a Leprechaun:
Make a Leprechaun Trap like this one from The Crafting Chicks.
Check out three other Leprechaun Trap ideas at Disney’s Family Fun.
Some FREE Printable activities:
Check out these great FREE printable activities from 2 Teaching Mommies including a scavenger hunt!
My Top Recommendation You NEED to check out this AMAZING free printable packet, G is for Green, from Oopsey Daisy. Though I personally am not a fan of worksheets, this is packet is NOT just a bunch of worksheets. There are a ton of activities that can be adapted for all SORTS of learning objectives and they are very hands-on vs. pencil and paper (though there are a few of these). Honestly, this packet has it ALL: St. Patrick’s Day Game ideas, songs and finger plays, art and craft ideas, science and math activities, flannel board ideas, book recommendations and even SNACK ideas! 39 pages of great ideas. AND…do you remember my Snowflake Gross Motor Activity that I shared a few weeks ago? I had considered making a similar one with shamrocks but guess what? Alison at Oopsy Daisy included shamrocks with the alphabet already on them (just like my snowflakes!). Check out my Snowflake post for more ideas on how you could use the Shamrock Letters that she provides.
A Sweet Treat:
Make some rainbow cup cakes from Disney’s Family Fun.
Hope you find some of these freebie’s useful! Let me know what you think and have a GREAT weekend!
Cheers!
Thank you so much for the kind words about my Mommy School packet! I am definitely NOT a fan of pencil/paper activities for this fun young age either. Thanks for the fun ideas!
Alison I REALLY can’t say it enough how much I LOVE this pack. I need to check out your others also. I was very impressed to find such a great HANDS ON packet! Thank YOU for sharing with your readers! I know first hand how LONG these kinds of things take 🙂
