I’m BACK!

August 28, 2014 by Katie Filed Under: Blogging 3 Comments

I need to begin this post by thanking you all SO much for all the emails I received in response to my last post several weeks ago. I shared that our family experienced a great loss in June and the outpouring of love, prayers and general well wishes I received in my in box the weeks after have been so appreciated. I don’t even have words to express how thankful I am for all of you. THANK YOU for your love and prayers during this very difficult time.

The combination of this life change, family vacations and the start of a new school year has kept me away from the blogging world. However, I am SO excited to say….

I’M BACK!

I am BACK to blogging! And I am SO excited for this fall!

I’ll be starting by sharing a few guest posts from some AMAZING occupational therapists on a few different subjects that I think you all will really enjoy. Then I’ll start back sharing some tips, tricks, and activities to help expand speech and language skills in young children.

I’m ALSO super excited to share that I will be joining up with several other fantastic bloggers this year to participate in the Virtual Book Club for Kids! I’ll be posting more about this in a few days and share details on how YOU can get involved with us too!

I think this is going to be a GREAT year and I look forward to you all reading along with us here!

With that….I’ll share a little personal picture. “Baby” Emory turned ONE a couple weeks ago. Can you believe it?? Here is my little family at his birthday party (which also happened to be MY birthday too).

I hope you are all having a great end of summer. I’m looking forward to FALL!

Referring to some of the questions that your blog followers asked, re: bilingual language development, this is an interesting study:
