January is 2/3 over already and I have yet to get back to regular posting. If you follow along on Facebook, you may already know one of the reasons.
I am tired.
Baby Emory, like all my kids, had a sleep regression right at 4 months. However, this kid’s regression has been longer and far worse than either of my other children. I think it is the combination of the age appropriate regression paired with hitting several motor milestones within weeks of each other (rolling, sitting up, and rocking on all fours) along with the fact that he is teething!!!
And when baby isn’t sleeping, mama isn’t sleeping.
And when mama isn’t sleeping, she is useless. 😉
I have some great post ideas in the making, they are just coming slow as I get this baby to sleep better. Last night he had a long stretch in the beginning of the night and a long stretch in the morning, which has been one small victory! He is currently taking a nice long nap, which is how I am even able to get on here to type this up!
So…stay tuned! I promise new content is on its way soon!
In the mean time, if you are new here I recommend checking out the “popular posts” list in the right sidebar to check out what is popular around here lately. If you are a parent looking for information, check out the tab at the top menu “For Parents.” This is a drop down with several sub-categories of info for parents on speech and language development, tips on helping your child talk, and more!
I’d love to hear any topics you’d like me to cover in 2014! Leave me a comment and let me know!
