I’ve Been Making the Rounds….

March 17, 2012 by Katie Filed Under: Blogging 6 Comments

This has been a busy week for me at OTHER blogs! This week I was a guest poster at THREE blogs, and PWW365 was mentioned in a blog post on yet ANOTHER blog! I’d love for you to go check them out!

On Sunday, I was a guest poster over at H is for Homeschooling where blog author Sierra is currently running a great guest series called Lessons Learned. I shared how working with my own daughter is much more difficult than working with my clients/students and how I have had to learn how to be more flexible with her.

Photobucket On Monday, I was a guest poster over at Living Life Intentionally where I shared how you can work on building speech and language skills while building forts with your children!

On Thursday PWW365 was one of MANY speech pathologist blogs mentioned in a post all about, well, speech blogs over at the ASHAsphere 😉 Heidi from PediaStaff authored this great article and I found a few new speechie blogs! (And also be on the look out at PediaStaff’s blog as I will be contributing to their great blog soon also!)

DDLbutton On Friday I guest posted over at my friend Kim’s blog, Dirty Diaper Laundry. I shared how even a L A Z Y person like me can cloth diaper (at least part time!) and how WORTH IT cloth diapering is. I had a TON of fun writing this post so go check it out…Kim even added her own little commentary that makes it even more fun to read 😉

Hope you are having a GREAT weekend and HAPPY ST. PATTY’S DAY!!

Cheers!

You are a busy woman! I have had such a blast reading your various guest posts this week- loved the fort one (we will be fort building tomorrow as I am now totally inspired), and I also loved your post about the difference between teaching other children and teaching our own. As a teacher and homeschooling mother myself, I can really relate to the need to allow more flexibility…even when your initial reaction is to give less…with our families. Thanks for the great reading material!

Thanks Emily! 🙂 Yes, trying to do learning activities with my daughter has TOTALLY made me have to stop and change my ways! She teaches me more than I teach her I think 😉
